Pilots Hanger \\ Stevens Legge
If you would like to see your 'hanger' here, please email steven@ndmac.co.uk with pictures of your top 3 planes including a little bit of text on each plane explaining how they fly, what the building process was like and what engine you put into it.
Black Horse Lark
Engine: Super Tigre .75 2 stroke
Wing span (inches):
No. of crashes: two (both Dennis)
Steven 'aquired' this plane after his Dad (Dennis) crashed the Lark for the second time; he took a strop and in the heat of the moment said "I dont want this plane" so Steven got it! Brian Curry fixed her up and a new engine was put in to her and it now flys perfect and is great for aerobatics.
World Models Midget Mustang
Engine: Super Tigre .91 2 stroke
Wing span (inches):
No. of crashes: 1 (wasn't so much a crash as a hard landing....in a field!)
Steven couldn't get on with this plane at the very start but once a brand new Super Tigre .91 engine was put into it it flew like a dream! Steven loves flying fast and low with basic aerobatics inbetween and because of this has got the nickname "Sky Wrecker".
Seagull Corsair
Engine: Saito .80 4 stroke
Wing span (inches):
No. of crashes: none (it doesnt fly too often!)
Probably Stevens most 'precious' plane. So precious in fact it has flown a grand total of two times!! Disgraceful! Steven plans to get out it out more in 2009 and it looks awesome in the sky with the Gull Wing. Landings are a little tricky but if you come in with a little speed it sets down nicely.
