Jets visit the NDMAC

Thanks to all who attended the day, it was fantastic and we hope to see more jets back at out site soon!

Robert brought his Harpoon powered by a Wren 54. My favourite plane and favourite flyer of the day.
This is Chris and Ian Robbs Red Arrow Hawk. A beautiful piece of kit but Chris decided not to take it up for a flight this time... maybe next time!

Take off!!
Phelim getting his Kangaroo ready for a flight.

One of the Boomerangs comes in for another smooth landing.
Gordon carrying back his beautiful L39 after another successful flight.

The Robb's electric F-14 before Ian decided to do a touch and go... the problem was that the prop hit the ground and kind of stopped working! He ended up in the fence at the end of the runway but as far as I could see all damage was repairable.
Robert Grahams electric trex 600 heli was beautiful.

Our very own Michael was up with the rest of the heli boys.
Harry and Robert do a bit of syncro flying!

If I told you this was a "Robb" effort would that explain it? They're little Shark made me laugh!
Just a line up of most of the jets that came to the site. Awesome!

Michaels once again threw his Cap around the sky as per usual. Some impressive flying by Michael.
The crowds were the best we have had at the site in a long time which was great to see.

Posing shot of the lucky owners of the jets.

Just a couple of arty shots of the amazing jets.

Prizes were given out for best flight, best model and as Phelim put it "a suprise".
Robert Graham quite rightly won the best flight of the day.

Best model of the day...
Two pilots who travelled from across the border, Seamus from the LetterKenny club, and Andreas from the Midland club. Andreas was awarded the furthest travelled prize, which like all of the others was a box of chocolates.

Albert, our chairman wraps up a fantastic day by thanking the NIJets members for coming, and invited them back later in the year for another days fun.
