Ian Butler carrying out a Ready 2 to prepare for take off!
Stewarts gorgeous Cessna 337 Twin mid flight - one engine pulls and other pushes, a lovely site and a beautiful noise to come with it.
Stewarts Pulse XT60 doing a low pass.
John Morrisons big trainer for him and his Grandson. Unfortunately this plane didn't last the full day and had a mechanical failure resulting in a nose dive into tarmac - ouch!
Ian's beautiful twin engined Harmony coming in for a low pass. Not a great photo this one but I just wanted to show how low Ian was prepared to go ... (he could have went lower).
A bit higher up and mid flight this time, the Harmony was on-song all day!
Dennis holding on for dear life as Michael prepares for take off with his perfect Cap 232.
This plane was recorded at 106mph last week using a GPS system but even at these speeds, the Canon camera was able to keep up... just!
Although it doesn't show it, this was a close, low, fast pass. All under control.. I hope.
I love this image of Colins Roulette just lifting off the ground. This plane has been round for quite some time now but still flies and looks lovely.
Down in one piece - Michael adjusts the trims on the Cap after yet another action packed flight.
Yes that is a tee shirt you see AND blue skies at Kirkistown and NO, its not editied in Photoshop! Bob getting tution from Dennis.
Richards newly covered Super Air was looking well but didn't do too much flying.
Phil flares out for a smooth landing.
Phil, one of our youngest members, carrying his plane back after that text book landing.
Bill was sure he stayed out of the camera all day - he was wrong! A mind of concentration here.
A total of 18 cars and around 20 members down to fly, the 13th of September was a day to remember - more successful than the club fly-in.
Lying on the ground with blue skies and green fields in the background. It doesn't happen very often down at Kirkistown so I made the most of it while I could!
