A nice mid air shot taken by Steven of Andy Kane hovering his Raptor. It takes a lot of skill and concentration to fly helis and Andy does it well!
Paul, George and Billy concentrating mid-flight.
One of Billys new planes, as far as I am aware its called a Cherokee. Looks brilliant and the detail in the covering is immense.
Three lovely pics of Phelims jet. Phelim competed in the 2007 World Jet Masters and practiced with this plane at the NDMAC site. Phelim is also a member of the UMFC but comes to the NDMAC due to our superb runway.
Dennis' Canter just after taking off, the composition of this shot is lovely with the dreaded barn in the background.
And down in one piece after a very successful flight.
One thing I love about the NDMAC is the support we get when the sun shines. Plenty of members come out from the wood work which gives us a wide and varied range of planes. As you can see in this picture we have everything in the club from trainers to low wingers to bi-planes and even a delta for out right speed!
A couple of close-ups of Phelims jet to let you see the inner workings of this fabulous machine.
Pete having a not so sneaky cig!
Michael showing off his skills no doubt!
Phil working hard to get up for another flight with the super quick delta.
You can make up your own caption for this one!
Richard just loves getting his picture taken... or not. Richard and his son Colin joined the NDMAC many moons ago and have continued to support us where possible... or when Richard isn't playing bowls!
Some of our members watched in awe of Phelim taming the super quick turbine.
This is an interesting plane. Dennis put together a Moth Minor fuselage with a Gangster 73 wing and covered it up with this lovely yellow and red design. Unfortunatly it didn't have a very long life due to the whole tail plane coming off mid flight after a steep dive. RIP...(Rest In Pieces)
