Barry had the Chipmunk out after quite a break from it, he was flying it lovely and when I asked how it was he responded "perfect". The world models ARTF Chipmunk has retracts and looks the part!

Dennis and Brian try to figure out why the Ready 2 won't take off..... I reckon it has something to do with it not having any wings on it!? Anyone who wears an "Arrows" or "Mc Claren" hat wouldn't realise that though!
Richard and Michael work on Richards minature Spitfire as Pete 'supervises'. If you look closely, Pete has taken the term 'bling' to a whole new level with a fuel tubing necklace....excellent!

I love this shot, its a little different than most and shows the underside of the plane. Michael gives it quite a steep bank but it doesnt effect the plane it all, it goes where it is told.
The F-16 needs a fair bit of run way to get lifted but no problem for Mike or in fact Stewart who flew it later on, it looks like the real thing in this shot.

Bit of an old shot as Phil looks NOTHING like this anymore. Sent in from Colin (our Chairman). At least Phil has better taste in his F1 team than his Dad!
Barry walking back to the pits after a successful flight.

Young Jim makes a few adjustments on his heli, his dog (Benjie) is probably just out of shot, the NDMAC mascot!
Probably our youngest member, Sam Jr. has a play with his mini heli, he is progressing very well in the fixed wing - give him a few months and he will be up with the best of them!

One evening while down at the site, Michael decided it would be a good idea to try and make a bucket of paint fly! SO he set off by placing an empty can of paint in the run way and pick it up with the under carriage...
...He then proceeded to lift off and fly round for a bit...

...Stuart then got him to do a tad of showing off and face the camera with the bucket still attached...
...Before touching down Mike had to try and get rid of the paint bucket. He done this by "pirouetting" until the bucket fell off...

The lads standing at the back of Ians motor. The sun was out and there wasnt a cloud in the sky and as you can tell from Ians fabulous figure the heat was there to top it all off!
Dennis first flew a Gambler whilst staying at the R/C Hotel, Corfu. He fell in love and had to have one. After ringing every model shop in the UK, a store in England had one "lying around" which Dennis got.

Again, from this shot you would think it was the real thing if it wasnt for the silencer sticking out from the far side. PERFECTION!
Probably the best shot on this picture gallery. I have to admit, it was taken by me but my old man shot this in Eniskillen. He entered the RCM&E contest for best shot and it somehow it didn't win, some measly mid air shot got top prize, better luck next time!
