Dennis' pride and joy. This is it on Day 1... It doesn't quite look like this anymore, its in a few more pieces.. in a black bag.
This plane is possibly my favourite in the whole club and I have one in the making! This is Michael's and as with all Michaels planes, the Chipmunk is finished to an unreal standard.
Thought I would take this pic just to show the detail and effort Michael has put into this gorgeous model. Upfront it has a 91 four stroke which powers it no end!
One of Stuarts Ready 2's. A brilliant plane which you can do basic aerobatics with or fly as slow as a fun fly! Dennis, Steven and Barry have all had to fly these for our "training session" in Corfu at the RC Hotel.
Colin Little getting his brilliant looking "Beaver" ready a flight. Colin has been in the club a couple of years now and is a very keen flyer with some lovely aircraft!
This is what happens when things go wrong. An easy mistake of not checking someone else is on your crystal and look at the result. Just a reminder to us to be careful!
Mummy, Daddy and little boy plane - From left to right we have Sam's minature plane, Dennis' Giles and George Elliots Acrowot.
One of Ians latests planes. A superb looking, and only tri-plane in the club. A bit un-stable with a high CG but looks great!
I wouldnt want to get on the wrong side of this guy - "shoot the Brits!" he is screaming. The white scarf and dirty face make this pilot amazing looking!
Ian getting ready to take his new pride and joy up into the air. As I said before it is a little unstable on the ground but is fine once in the air.
Well this is what happens when things dont go according to plan. Jim stands and watches his poor plane being burnt to bits. Although he does seem to have a cheeky grin on his face!
Another one of Jims gorgeous planes. George took her up but Jim flew it very well and George gave it the perfect landing this little number deserved.
I did say that Ians little tri-plane wasnt the most stable on the ground and here is the proof! This was even before it got off the ground!
Barry flat out as per usual!
Dennis flying the beautiful Lark. I am very pleased with this picture as the camera picks up the colours of the plane very well and makes for a crisp image.
Brining the Lark home after an aerobatic filled flight.
George is one of a few members (including myself) who owns an AcroWot - one of the best flying planes money can buy in my opinion. The thing I like about AcroWots is no matter what colour scheme you do them in, they always look great!
